Our staff is comprised of Hans Obas, President of Sogestair. Hans is bilingual and has more than 15 years of experience in the aviation field. Hans is an accomplished commercial pilot, working for one of Canada’s big airlines.
He started his aviation career as a flight instructor and then went on to hold a variety of positions in the airline industry, such as corporate/charter pilot and ferry pilot. Hans has always enjoyed instruction as he is very passionate about aviation and loves sharing his knowledge. He has worked as a check pilot and flight instructor for different companies.
Because of his varied professional path, Hans has gained experience in different areas of the pilot profession, occupying positions such as Flight Instructor, Civil Aviation Inspector, Airline Pilot and Chief Pilot. As a result of his numerous trainings, education and professional experience, Hans now has in-depth knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations and A.I.P.
